Description
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. This position involves assisting Radiologists in the execution of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality imaging services in accordance with established protocols.
- Assist Radiologists by supporting the execution of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Process and transmit images to PACS for further evaluation.
- Utilize both mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment effectively.
Qualifications:
- Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, ARRT, or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Minimum of one year of experience in acute clinical radiology.
- At least one year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT.
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- CT/Fusion Certification is required.
