Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Psychiatric/Behavioral Health to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in providing care to children, adolescents, and adults within a behavioral health setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate care to patients in children, adolescent, and adult units.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and document their progress.
• Actively participate in patient care planning and interventions.
• Provide crisis intervention and manage challenging behaviors using de-escalation techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• May be expected to assume charge nurse duties as required.

Qualifications

• Active RN License required at the time of application.
• Minimum of 1.5 to 2 years of recent experience in Psychiatric/Behavioral Health.
• Willingness to work with a diverse patient population including children and adolescents.
• Flexibility to work every other weekend (EOW).
• Travel may be required for this position.

Additional Information

Training in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) will be provided. Most shifts will include a shift supervisor, Chief Nursing Officer, and nurse manager on site to support staff and ensure optimal patient care.
