Job Overview

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Oncology Medical Surgical Registered Nurse. This position involves providing high-quality patient care within a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to oncology patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and implement appropriate interventions as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with compliance to NLC guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in oncology medical surgical nursing.
• Current Oncology Certification (ONC Cert) is required.
• Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center is preferred.
• Previous travel experience in nursing roles is advantageous.

Schedule and Requirements

• Shifts available: Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).
• Team nursing ratios will be 1:12, with a split of 1:6 between two RNs.
• Weekend work and on-call duties may be required as needed.
• Must not reside within a 100-mile radius.
• All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.
• Must be able to work 2 out of 3 holidays during the contract period.
