Allied Health Certifications: ARRT (CT)

Job Description

All travelers not currently holding an active Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license must apply upon acceptance of the offer. Candidates must obtain the Hawaii license before the start of the assignment.

No requests for time off (RTO) will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract.

Proof of flu vaccination or an approved application for medical or religious exemption must be provided prior to the contract start date. The flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment.

Licensure

Must possess a current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.

Certification

Candidates must have a current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Shifts

Shifts may vary based on needs. There is no on-call requirement.

General Requirements

A minimum of three (3) years of work experience in an acute hospital setting is required. Candidates must be capable of performing CT scans according to radiologist protocols, conduct routine scans, and operate independently without supervision. Preferred experience includes:

Meditech EMR
Canon/Toshiba CT units
Vitrea workstation
Venipuncture
Performing MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging
Procedures such as biopsies or drainages
Vascular or cardiac imaging
Trauma or stroke imaging
