Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team. The Emergency Department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, handling approximately 14,000 patient visits each year.
Shift and Weekend Requirements
- 12-hour mids
- 36-hour guarantee
- Every other weekend and holidays are required if needed
Job Responsibilities
As an Emergency Room RN, you will be responsible for promptly assessing patient conditions upon arrival and determining the appropriate course of treatment. You will be part of a fully staffed department designed to provide high-quality emergency care to all patients.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting (Required)
- 3 months minimum travel experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- All certifications must be in hand to be considered for this position (non-negotiable)
- Must have a personal vehicle for transportation
- Permanent address must be included in your application profile

Certification Requirements
- Vermont RN license or Compact (Required)
- Active American Heart Association BLS (Required)
- Active American Heart Association ACLS (Required)
- Active Trauma Nursing Core Course TNCC (Required)
- Active American Heart Association PALS (Required)
Additional Information
Travelers must commit to working blocks during key holidays such as Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day, as needed. Please ensure that all travel nurses have appropriate voicemail setup for easy contact during the application process.
