Job Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for providing therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting patients in improving their ability to perform daily living and work-related activities.
• Implementing treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Monitoring patients’ progress and reporting any changes to the supervising therapist.
• Educating patients and their families about therapeutic techniques and activities.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices and procedures.
