Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting obstetric care, ensuring that expectant mothers and their newborns receive the highest quality of care during labor and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of the labor and delivery environment.
• Support medical staff in providing care and monitoring patients during labor.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for delivery procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health care standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and team objectives.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Labor and Delivery Technician.
• Experience in obstetric care is required.
• Must hold NBSTA certification and have VA registration in hand.
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including days and nights, over a 6-week pay period.
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays.
• Ability to manage time off requests efficiently, with up to 40 hours approved.
