Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our GI Surgery Bariatric Clinic. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients in an outpatient setting, assisting with surgical needs and supporting overall patient management.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Weekends: No weekend requirements
- On-call: Not required
- Floating: Potential to float to like units within the same location and possibly to GI medicine and other related areas
Patient Care Ratios
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5.
Qualifications
- Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a nursing role; 3+ years preferred
- Ambulatory clinic experience is preferred; experience in GI Surgery or surgical nursing is highly desired
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, must be from AHA
- Licensure: Current RN license in South Carolina or a multi-state/compact state license is mandatory
Other Requirements
- Travel Radius: Candidates must reside within 60 miles; local applicants are welcome
- RTO Restrictions: All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application
- Guaranteed Hours: Typical schedule allows for one shift cancellation every two weeks
