Job Overview

This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care within a busy Respiratory Therapy department. The role requires dedication to patient care across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatrics.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirement
• Interview required prior to offer

License & Certification Requirements

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); CRTs will not be accepted
• Must hold a valid Tennessee Respiratory Therapist license at the time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Epic experience within the last 18 months is required and should be clearly detailed on the submission profile

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care based on patient needs and department standards
• Care for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics
• Perform intubations for the neonatal through geriatric patient populations
• Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) procedures, including arterial puncture and analysis
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care
