Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This position involves providing care to a diverse patient population, ranging from infants to geriatric patients, in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in the Emergency Room setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize electronic medical record systems and medication management tools for patient documentation and medication administration.
• Adhere to safety protocols and effective communication practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting. First-time travelers not accepted.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Competency with Epic and Pyxis systems preferred.

Work Environment

• General Emergency Room setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.
• 46 rooms with an average daily census of 135 patients.

Additional Information

• Scrub color: Navy Blue.
• Maximum requested time off (RTO): 7 days.
• Weekend shifts: Required every other weekend unless otherwise specified.
• Floating may be necessary to nearby locations.
• No call requirements are expected for this position.
• Holidays: Work is expected on major holidays based on assignment period.
