We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in computed tomography and demonstrate the ability to work independently in an acute hospital setting.

Shift Information

Shifts consist of 10-hour varied hours. Holiday coverage is required, and no time off will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT scans according to radiologist protocols.
• Independently manage imaging tasks without supervision.
• Utilize Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation.
• Conduct venipuncture and perform advanced imaging procedures such as MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging.
• Assist with procedures including biopsies, drainages, and vascular or cardiac imaging.
• Handle trauma and stroke imaging as required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start date.

General Requirements

Candidates need to be proficient in all related imaging procedures and must be prepared to adapt to varying shift requirements. Experience with advanced imaging techniques and technologies is preferred.

All travelers who do not currently hold an active State of Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance of the offer and obtain the license before starting the assignment.
