Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with expertise in neonatal, pediatric, and cardiovascular care. The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-level Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU). The position may require floating to various locations within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care for pediatric patients in the NICU, PICU, and CVICU.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions per established protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding respiratory health.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RRT license is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a Pediatric or NICU setting.
• Current certifications in NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS.
• Experience with high-level care (Level 4) in PICU and NICU.

Schedule

This position offers the option of 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts, primarily during the night.

Additional Requirements

• Travelers will need to complete two fingerprinting processes: one onsite for facility requirements prior to start and another through the agency.
• All work history, including any relevant previous positions, must be included in your application profile.
• Certification copies must be submitted at the time of application.
