Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) / Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) specializing in Long Term Care (LTC) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our nursing staff in delivering compassionate care to patients, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Shift Details
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours guaranteed per week
- Weekend shifts required every other weekend
Job Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff in the treatment and care of patients according to established protocols and methodologies.
- Deliver patient and family-centered care by actively engaging with patients and their families to address needs and concerns.
- Maintain a high standard of care and strive for superior performance to enhance the patient and family experience.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Long Term Care (LTC) is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
- Active Michigan state license at the time of application is required.
- Having Michigan LTC fingerprinting is considered a valuable asset.
Attendance Policy
We have implemented a strict attendance policy that requires adherence to scheduled shifts. Absences or tardiness exceeding 20 minutes on three occasions will result in immediate termination, with exceptions for documented medical circumstances such as communicable diseases or hospitalization.
