Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Shift Times: 0700 - 1930
- Floating: May be required to float between multiple locations within the region
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State or Compact RN Licensure
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Charge experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process and unit-specific standards.
- Develop, implement, and continually assess individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures and treatments safely.
- Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and adapt as necessary.
- Document care, assessments, plans, interventions, and responses accurately.
- Perform ongoing holistic assessments of patient status and respond appropriately.
- Determine and complete nursing actions that meet the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of patients.
- Educate patients, families, and significant others about health information and share relevant materials in a timely manner.
- Maintain current knowledge of workflows, processes, and evidence-based practices.
- Delegate appropriately and supervise care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel.
- Participate in performance evaluation and improvement processes with leadership.
- Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff in accordance with policy standards.
