We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Med/Surg team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and adhering to nursing standards and practices.

Shift Information

• Evening/Night shifts
• Three 12-hour shifts per week

Qualifications

• Active RN Licensure in Washington State or Compact RN Licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Charge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care in a compassionate manner, utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice.
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments as required.
• Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and make necessary adjustments based on patient needs.
• Accurately document care provided, including assessments, plans of care, interventions, and patient responses.
• Collect necessary patient information to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Conduct holistic ongoing assessments of patient status and respond accordingly.
• Determine and implement appropriate nursing actions to meet comprehensive care goals, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of patients.
• Educate patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information, providing written materials as needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of workflows, processes, and evidence-based procedures relevant to the role.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel.
• Engage in performance evaluation and improvement processes with clinical management.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff in accordance with unit and hospital policies.

Additional Information

This role may require floating between different units as necessary to meet the needs of patient care and staffing. Flexibility and a commitment to team collaboration are essential for success in this position.
