Shift Information
- Evening/Night shifts
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
Requirements
- Must possess an active Washington State or Compact RN Licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required
- Adherence to organizational policies and unit standards is essential
- Knowledge of and compliance with the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care with compassion, utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice specific to the unit
- Develop, implement, and continuously reassess individualized patient care plans
- Provide nursing care, including medication administration and nursing procedures/treatments
- Evaluate the discharge plan's appropriateness while addressing educational needs and necessary adjustments
- Document care delivered, assessments, plans of care, interventions, and patient responses accurately
- Collect necessary patient information to ensure safe, high-quality care
- Conduct holistic ongoing assessments of patient status and respond effectively
- Determine and execute appropriate nursing actions to meet the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of patients
- Educate patients, families, and significant others with relevant health information and provide written materials as needed
- Maintain current knowledge of workflows, processes, and evidence-based practices
- Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
- Engage in performance evaluation and improvement activities with clinical leadership
- Communicate and collaborate with all healthcare team members effectively
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff in accordance with policies

- May be required to float between various departments as needed
