Shift Details

This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required. The facility may allow you to float to similar units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT modalities.
• Effectively explain procedures to patients, ensuring their understanding and competency.
• Produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT and Radiography is required.
• First-time travelers may be considered, though more experienced candidates are preferred.
• Required certifications include:
  • Registered in Radiography (ARRT) (R) & Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C)
  • SCRQSA
  • BLS
  • ACLS (pending certification accepted if obtained within 2-3 weeks of hire)
• Experience in Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic exams in both modalities is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Siemens equipment, EPIC, and PACS systems is advantageous.
• A radiation badge must be provided by the agency, as the facility does not supply them to travelers.

• The facility operates within a 60-mile radius rule for applicants.
• Local candidates may be accepted on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission and will be approved based on unit needs.
• The facility may implement a policy allowing them to call off staff for one shift every two weeks.
• Parking is available for a one-time fee of $20, applicable only during nights and weekends.
