Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Behavioral Health team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Shift Details
- Evening/Night shifts available: 1500-2330, 1900-0730, and 2300-0730
- 3x12-hour shifts for Night schedule (19:00 - 07:30)
- Weekend rotation and holidays as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse
- Active RN license required
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
Role Responsibilities
- Primary focus on providing supportive psychiatric nursing care, with minimal involvement in medication distribution
- Experience with a lower RN to patient ratio is preferred
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor behaviors, and provide therapeutic interventions
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with staff and families
