Description

Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment while providing quality care to surgical patients. This role includes responsibilities in both scrubbing and circulating for various surgical procedures.

Shift Details

Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour (06:45 - 19:15)
Weekends: Required, usually on Saturday – Work every other weekend
No Call requirements

Responsibilities

Assist in scrubbing and circulating for surgeries in various specialties including Trauma, Cardiothoracic, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Cataracts, and ENT.
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment.
Monitor patient vital signs and provide support during procedures.
Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
Document surgical procedures and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse license in West Virginia or Compact states.
BLS certification required.
Experience in diverse surgical specialties preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
