Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This position involves providing exceptional patient care for individuals with moderate to severe illnesses, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout their stay.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and assess needs for nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and provide emergency care as required.
• Participate in rounding and clinical discussions to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar nursing environment.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Shift Information

This position may require working 3x12-hour shifts, either during the day (07:00 - 19:30) or at night (19:00 - 07:30).
