Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - SCU/Telemetry

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Subacute Care Unit (SCU) with telemetry capabilities. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in telemetry, medical-surgical, or critical care nursing.

Position Information

Role: RN
Specialty: SCU/Intermediate Care
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend minimum
Years of Experience: 2 years plus travel experience
Float Requirements: Occasional float to Medical-Surgical unit

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 8
Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 4:1
Equipment: Ventilators, ceiling lifts, Plumb Pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, SCD boots
EMR: EPIC

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Experience: Experience with vasoactive drips and ventilators
Preferred Skillset/Experience: Background in ICU or SCU nursing
Type of Patients on Unit: SCU/IMC/Medical-Surgical/Swing patients (rarely)
Personality Fit: Down-to-earth, team player, proactive, and maintains high standards
