Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Telemetry

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a specialty in Med Surg Telemetry to join our team. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.

Position Information

Number of Openings: Varies
Shifts: 0645-1915, 1845-0715
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Varies
Call Requirements: 2 12-hour call shifts in a 13-week contract
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years, including travel experience
Float Requirements: May be required to float to other Med Surg units as needed

Education & Certifications

Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Education Modules: All training will be conducted through the Learning Management System (LMS) and will be consistent for all travelers.

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 56
Patient Ratios:
- Days: 1 RN to 4-5 patients
- Nights: 1 RN to 5-6 patients
Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic

Hiring Profile

Must Have Skills/Experience:
- Med Surg Telemetry experience
- Active Maine RN License
- BLS certification
Preferred Skillset/Experience: ACLS certification
Type of Patients on Unit: General Med Surg Telemetry
Personality Fit: Team player, hard-working, accountable

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Any color, clean attire, professional
Unacceptable Attire: Hoodies, graphic shirts, open shoes
