We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Surgical Services department. The ideal candidate will possess a commitment to patient care and work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist during surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
• Handle surgical instruments and equipment with proficiency and care.
• Prepare and organize case cards for gastrointestinal (GI) cases.
• Participate as a team player in the operating room, contributing to a positive work environment.
• Perform cleaning duties for surgical rooms, instruments, and scopes as needed to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety.

Schedule:

This position includes 10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:00, with no scheduled weekends. Weekend call is required from Friday to Monday, currently at a frequency of 1 in 4 weekends. Holiday coverage may also be required.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience of two years as a Surgical Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (American Heart Association only).
• Willingness to support GI cases and handle the associated responsibilities.
• Strong teamwork skills and a proactive approach to maintaining a sterile and organized environment.
