Job Summary

An exceptional opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the ICU unit. This role requires providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment, including the management of ICU and PCU patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in handling all acuity types and patient ratios.

Schedule

Shifts will be three 12-hour days, from 06:30 to 19:00, with a weekend rotation and every other holiday. Standby call may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implemented care plans, and adjust as necessary.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist during their execution.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med/Surg and PCU.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association only).
• Telemetry exam must be passed prior to the start of the assignment.
• First-time travelers must have more than 5 years of experience as an RN.

Additional Information

Consideration will be given to candidates willing to accept a 48-hour contract with an increased weekend commitment.
