Job Description

This position involves working night shifts with a focus on providing care in a supportive environment. The role requires a flexible schedule, including every other weekend and some holidays, with a primary emphasis on 12-hour shifts. Travelers are encouraged to apply, with options for 4x12s available if desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support in the Thoracic Surgery unit.
• Conduct assessments and monitor patients in a telemetry oncology, cardiac, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Intermediate Care Unit (IMC).
• Demonstrate proficiency with ventilators and transplant care.
• Complete necessary telemetry testing prior to employment start date.

Requirements

• Wisconsin RN or compact RN license is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience in telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown units is essential.
• Must be available and willing to work on December 24 and December 25; requests for time off during these holidays will not be approved.
• Limited requests for time off (RTO) will be considered during the weeks of December 22 to January 5.

Schedule

Night shift comprising 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30).
