Description

Stepdown Neuro Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Stepdown Neuro Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuro care and be prepared to provide high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and evaluate patient condition and report changes to the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery processes.
Document patient care and progress accurately in the electronic health record.

Position Details

Start Date: As soon as possible
Shifts: Rotating schedule including 1 day shift and 1 night shift
Shift Hours: Night shifts are 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
Patient Ratios: 4:1 during day shifts and 5:1 during night shifts
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Block Scheduling: Available

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in stepdown or neuro nursing.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Neuro experience is highly preferred.
Must be available for all scheduled shifts with no time off during specified blackout dates.
