Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with advanced experience in complex total joint revisions and orthopedic trauma procedures. The ideal candidate is proficient in first scrubbing multi-vendor cases with minimal guidance and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• First scrub complex total joint revision cases using multiple vendor systems including Stryker, DePuy, Smith & Nephew, and Zimmer.
• Operate with proficiency using the Mako robotic system and Hana table.
• First assist on polytrauma orthopedic cases with minimal supervision.
• Ensure adherence to high efficiency standards, including 30-minute room turnovers and supporting a 90% first case on-time start (FCOTS) rate.
• Collaborate with a tight-knit surgical team across five high-volume orthopedic operating rooms.

Qualifications:

• Current and in good standing Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Proven experience in orthopedic surgery, including trauma and total joint revisions.
• Strong working knowledge of multiple vendor systems and orthopedic instrumentation.
• Experience with Mako robotic-assisted surgery and Hana table positioning.
• Ability to adapt quickly in high-acuity, fast-turnaround operating room settings.
• Weekend and extended shift availability is required.

• EMR: Epic

Hiring Profile:

• Must have skills/experience: Level 1 trauma experience.
• Preferred skillset/experience: General, GU/GYN, orthopedic trauma, orthopedic joints, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, endovascular.
• Type of patients on unit: Operating Room.
• Personality fit: Flexible, accountable, timely, team player.

• Scrub Color: Teal scrubs issued from the hospital.
