Schedule
This position requires a commitment to a 3x12 hour shift schedule, working from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with shifts every other weekend. There is no on-call requirement.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license is mandatory.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience is required.
- Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) is essential.
Position Overview
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will exhibit compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to enhancing the lives of those in their care.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and evaluate patient condition, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional and physical support to residents and their families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
