Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support a variety of cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in cath lab operations, including proficiency with C-Arm machines and fluoroscopy. This position requires on-call availability and the ability to respond quickly when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate the C-Arm machine effectively during cardiac procedures.
• Perform routine lead maintenance for equipment.
• Assist in catheterization procedures and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs).
• Insert and manage Impella and balloon pump devices.
• Scrub in for interventional radiology procedures, including:
• Nephrostomy tube insertion
• Peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) insertion
• Permacath insertion
• Pacemaker insertion
• Cerebral thrombectomy

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a cath lab setting.
• Certification in fluoroscopy is required.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification preferred.
• Ability to respond to calls within 30 minutes.
• Priority will be given to candidates with a New Jersey ARRT license.

Work Conditions

The position entails on-call coverage for 24 hours during weekends, with responsibilities as outlined above. Applicants should be prepared to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment focused on patient care and safety.
