Description
Scheduling Details
- Shift hours: 3x12s, Monday-Wednesday (7 PM - 7 AM). Start time may vary based on unit needs, with notifications of changes provided one week in advance.
- On-Call Requirement: Not required.
- All Requests for Time Off (RTO) must be included with the submission.
- Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off one shift per two weeks.
- Holidays are required and will be scheduled based on unit needs. The traveler may be scheduled to work a holiday that falls outside of contracted days.
- First-Time Travelers: Not accepted.
- Local Candidates: Not accepted.
Required License & Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ARRT® (Radiography) certification
- ARRT® (Computed Tomography) certification
- Virginia state license required; any active state license (in hand) is accepted. Virginia will grant emergency authorization to travelers with a license while their permanent VA license is processing.
Required Clinical Skills
- Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Radiation safety
Unit Details and Floating
The traveler may be required to float to different locations within the region.
Hospital Highlights
This position is within an acute care teaching hospital that features over 700 licensed beds, is a Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, and recognized as a certified stroke center.
