Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team in the Neuro ICU. This position requires a dedicated professional who is committed to providing high-quality care to patients with neurological conditions.

Shifts

• Day/Night, 8/12 hour shifts available
• 0700 - 1930 and 1900 - 0730
• Every other weekend and some holidays required
• 4x12 shifts will be accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Neuro ICU and IMC patient population.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families on care processes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required - AHA ONLY.
• ICU experience is required, with a preference for Neurosurgery experience.
• Experience with the Epic electronic health record system is required.
• Must be willing to work with ICU and IMC patient populations.
• Traveler candidates must pass a Telemetry test prior to starting.
