An exciting opportunity for an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is now available for an urgent 13-week travel assignment. This position aims to support staffing due to the resignation of permanent staff. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the operating room environment.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Shifts: 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Call Requirements: Weeknight and weekend calls are mandatory. A weeknight call of one shift per week and a weekend call (approximately every 6 to 7 weeks) is required.

• Ability to Float: Limited. Staffing adjustments may require assistance in other units, primarily for 1:1 support during low census periods.

Qualifications:

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an OR circulating nurse, with travel experience preferred.
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS (for call duties)
• Must Have Skills: Extensive experience in a smaller facility operating room with exposure to multiple service lines.
• Preferred Experience:
  • Orthopedics
  • Urology
  • OB/GYN
  • General Surgery
  • ENT

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 100-bed facility
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 for surgical patients
• Equipment: Standard operating room equipment
• EMR: EPIC
