Description

Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in a Stepdown unit. This position offers the potential for extension and requires working every other weekend and holidays. Candidates should have minimal to no requests for time off included in their submission.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a Stepdown unit.
Monitor and assess patient conditions using telemetry and other methods.
Initiate and manage IV therapy as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years recent experience in a Stepdown/Telemetry unit.
Previous travel nurse experience preferred.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Intermediate to advanced skills in telemetry and IV start.
Experience with Cerner EMR system is preferred.

Additional Information

Candidates are expected to wear royal blue scrubs during their assignment. A copy of the Driver’s License and updated nursing credentials must be included in the submission for verification of residence to determine eligibility for travel or local rates.
