Role Overview

As a Certified Surgical/Scrub Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting surgical patients through the perioperative experience. You will prepare operating rooms, maintain sterile techniques, assist during surgical procedures, manage surgical instruments and supplies, and contribute to high-quality patient care throughout the surgical process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operative procedures, ensuring sterile technique, managing instruments, supporting patient positioning, and facilitating surgical workflow.
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures to maintain a safe and organized surgical environment.
• Support perioperative patient care by assisting with patient transport, positioning, specimen management, documentation processes, and postoperative preparation activities.
• Participate in on-call coverage and be ready to assist with urgent or emergent procedures within required response times.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
• Current BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Previous operating room experience.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative procedures.
• Ability to participate in call coverage and respond within required timeframes.

Shift Information
