Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The position involves working 12-hour shifts, either during the day or evening, from 0700 to 1930. The nurse will participate in a weekend rotation, which includes a maximum of three weekends per six-week scheduling period, and holiday rotations based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and promptly.
• Participate in continuous education and training sessions.
• Pass telemetry competency assessment prior to starting the position.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
