Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PCU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. This position involves working a combination of nights and some ICU shifts in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and be adept at managing complex patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, and communicate any changes to the medical team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Support and educate patients and their families regarding recovery plans and health management.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in a PCU or ICU setting preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including nights.

Additional Information

Limited holiday time off is available, with the ability to request one day surrounding one holiday during the contract period.
