Job Overview

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality mammographic exams and bone density assessments. This role requires proficiency in patient care, technical skills in imaging, and maintaining compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mammography procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast conditions.
• Perform bone density and DEXA scans as required, ensuring optimal patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain imaging equipment and instruments in optimal working condition.
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines for imaging practices.
• Document patient records accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (RTRM) and certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Massachusetts State licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong knowledge of radiology and imaging techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility in scheduling, with hours spanning from Tuesday to Friday. Specific shifts will be assigned based on departmental needs across multiple locations.
