Schedule: Block Schedule - Friday to Sunday

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist with additional experience in X-ray to join our mobile unit, which responds to emergency situations. This position plays a critical role in providing imaging services in various locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray examinations.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures and examinations.
• Maintain equipment functionality and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Document imaging procedures and patient information accurately.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure patient care and safety.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
• Active BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• ARRT (CT, R) certification and Florida State Department of Health licensure at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical radiology experience, including 2 years as a CT Technologist.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Experience with Cannon CT equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC (Radiant) electronic medical records system.

Skills Required

• Comprehensive knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
• Proficiency in using computer software and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Maintain competency in at least two imaging modalities.

Additional Notes

All candidates must include a completed submission packet that outlines the facility type, EMR, and bed count. Additionally, at least one reference dated within the last 12 months is required.

Please note that no requested time off (RTO) is permitted within the first two weeks of a new assignment, and a maximum of 8 days RTO submission is allowed for a 13-week contract.
