Description

Pediatric Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care to our pediatric patients during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room for pediatric surgeries.
Conduct pre-operative assessments and ensure that all required documentation is completed accurately.
Collaborate with the surgical team to provide safe and effective care before, during, and after procedures.
Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and post-operative care.

Schedule

Mix of 5x8 and 4x10 shifts
Required to cover two weekend day shifts (07:00 - 19:00).
Two weeknight shifts from 19:00 - 23:00.

Qualifications

Current Georgia (GA) Nursing License
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
Minimal to no requests for time off (RTO) - no more than three days.
