Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric OR Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in the operating room setting. This position requires exceptional clinical skills and a passion for pediatric healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment.
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols and standards.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition promptly.
- Educate families on pre-operative and post-operative care procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
Shift Information
This position offers a mix of shifts, including:
- Five 8-hour shifts during the day (07:00 - 15:30)
- Four 10-hour shifts
- Cover two weekend day shifts from 07:00 - 19:00
- Cover two weeknight shifts from 19:00 - 23:00
Qualifications
- Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a pediatric operating room setting is preferred.
- Ability to work with minimal to no requested time off (RTO), no more than 3 days.
