Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures and ensuring the highest quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI equipment.
• Conduct MRI scans efficiently, averaging approximately 9 patients per shift.
• Collaborate with another technical aide or MRI technologist; solo work is not permitted.
• Provide on-call coverage after midnight as needed.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment to the following:

• 8-hour night shifts, with a total of 40 hours per week.
• Weekend and holiday coverage, including mandatory participation during specific holiday blocks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
• Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI.
• Experience with GE MRI equipment is essential.
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle for transportation.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and take on-call shifts as required.

• Documentation of current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
