Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neuroscience ICU team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, critical environment, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients with neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Neuro ICU.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in their condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge processes.
- Utilize electronic health record systems effectively for documentation and care coordination.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a critical care or Neuro ICU setting.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system required.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with patients and families.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Shift Details
This position offers a day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, from 07:00 to 19:00.
