12-hour day shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Weekend Requirements

Must be available to work every other weekend and every holiday as required.

On Call Requirements

No on-call duties are required for this position.

Job Description

• RRT positions are available, and only Registered Respiratory Therapists will be considered; Certified Respiratory Therapists will not be accepted.
• Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• Requested time off during the course of the assignment must be noted at the time of profile upload; requests made after submission will not be approved.
• Travelers should be ready to work during critical blocks of holidays, including:
  • Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday
  • Christmas Eve through Christmas Day
  • New Year's Eve through New Year's Day
• All travelers must have a working voicemail set up on their phones for efficient communication.
• Non-billable orientation of 8 hours is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist is required.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
• Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
• The permanent address of the traveler must be included in their profile.
• All requests for time off must be included in the profile at the time of submission; scheduling requests made after the offer may lead to rescinded offers.

Certification Requirements

• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Active RRT certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) is required.

State License Requirements

• A valid Massachusetts RRT license or an application for the same must be in hand upon submission.
