Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a temporary assignment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in catheterization lab procedures with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations. This position requires participation in scheduled on-call rotations, providing essential support during both weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of procedures including IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, Structural interventions, PFO closures, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman devices.
• Maintain proficiency in operating diagnostic and therapeutic equipment such as GE Innova IGS and Philips systems.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately using EPIC and other electronic systems.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and sterile environment in the cath lab and hybrid OR settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a cath lab or interventional setting.
• Current certification as an ARRT-R and/or RCIS required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Ability to work rotating days Monday through Friday with occasional weekend and holiday on-call duties.
• First-time travelers are welcome; local candidates may also apply at a reduced travel rate.
• Consideration will be given to qualified RN candidates with relevant cath lab scrubbing experience.

Schedule

This position offers a 4x10 schedule, with shifts from 06:30 to 17:00. Flexibility is required for rotating days and on-call responsibilities.

Patient Care

The Cath Lab Technologist will engage primarily with adult and geriatric patients, assisting in critical interventions that directly impact patient outcomes.
