Job Overview
This position requires a dedicated Registered Nurse to float between various Med/Surg units, including cardiac, spine, and neuro. The role involves working evening and night shifts, providing high-quality care to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Shift Details
- Night shifts: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
- Weekends and holidays may be required as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in multiple Med/Surg units, adapting to varying patient needs and environments
- Monitor and assess patient conditions accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health records (Epic)
- Pass the Telemetry test prior to starting the role
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact license
- Experience in Med/Surg units, specifically cardiac, spine, and neuro
- Proficient in using Epic electronic health records
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
