Job Overview

This role involves providing essential respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans in consultation with physicians, while monitoring and documenting patient progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient interviews and examinations to assess cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to devise appropriate treatment strategies.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and document findings accurately in patient charts.
• Administer treatments using various techniques, including chest physiotherapy and aerosol therapies.

Qualifications

• Must possess current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Licensed as a CRT and RRT.
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program and successful completion of a certification exam is required.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and/or sitting may be necessary.
• Occasional bending, stooping, and stretching are required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds may be necessary.
• Proficiency in eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity is required.
