Description

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Job Overview

An opportunity exists for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team. This is a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extension.

Schedule

4x10 hour shifts (Day Shift: 07:00 - 17:00)
Minimal to no requests for time off (RTO) will be considered

Duties and Responsibilities

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

Circulating duties during surgical procedures
Participating in patient care and surgical support
Coordinating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Call Schedule

The RN will be assigned call every other weekday after the shift ends, which includes:

13.5 hours of on-call duty
Time off following call period

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room experience required
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Current certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred
Experience with EMR systems, preferably SIS
