Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. ??Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.Proof of flu vaccination or facility approved application for medical or religious exception will be required prior to contract start date. Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment.General Job duties:Varied Shifts (TBD) 13-week contract - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first full week of orientation - Will be required to work various shift lengths and various days. Must be flexible. No guarantee of hours. No guarantee of shift preference. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept:Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes. tube feeding, NG/G-Tubes, Trach Care, PICC/PORTRequired skills and minimum years of experience:2-10 years� experienceSpecific licensures and certifications/registrations required: BLS, ACLS is not required for our unit, unless it is an agency requirementFloating to other units/departments: May float to Med Surg and Surgical PedsBed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: TCU 32 bedNurse to patient ratio of this unit: 1:8 nurse with 1:6 Aides during the Day and 1:8 during the NightDress Code: Professional nursing attireDepartment specific training and orientation program:Orientation time provided for each unit.
