Certified Nursing Assistant, Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
Up to $2,500 Sign on Bonus

The University of Miami Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant.
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a certified professional that fulfills the need of patient care in the hospital.
Through collaborative efforts with members of the interdisciplinary team, the CNA performs various duties under the direction of the nurse, charge nurse and/or unit director or designee.
The CNA performs various duties and observes the patients’ conditions and reports to the nurse.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a Current Florida C.N.A. and BLS (CPR) certification.
One (1) year of patient care experience in a Acute Care (Hospital) setting preferred. Any combination of experience, education and/or certifications will be considered.

• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.

• Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office)
