Description

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Hours: 36/week
Weekends: Every other weekend
Unit: L&D with 12 labor beds, 5 antepartum beds, 2 ORs, and 6 OB emergency/triage beds
EHR/FHM: Meditech and OB Trace
Requirements: 2+ years L&D experience, prior travel experience, BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate or Advanced EFM
Patient Population: High-risk OB, routine OB, antepartum, C-sections, cerclages, tubals, and vaginal deliveries
Ratios: Follow AWHONN guidelines
Support: 24/7 OB hospitalist, neonatology, RT, and pharmacy; lactation support available
Float: May float to postpartum as needed
Call: None for contract
Holidays: Rotate with permanent staff
Orientation: 16 hours; floor orientation typically 2 shifts
Submission: Strict 72-mile radius rule; no first-time travelers
